My favorite fruit

I like fruit very much because it is sweet and delicious. For example, strawberry, orange, grape, apple, pear, banana, peach, kiwi and so on. Especially, I like strawberry the best. I want to eat it every day. Also, the fruit is good for beauty. I often stay up all night so I have a rough skin. Sitting up late is so bad for the skin. But I can’t help sitting up late because I have a lot of assignments I have to do. So I’m paying attention to the life food. Recently, I like kiwi very much, because this is the best season for it. Last week, my older sister came to downtown. So I met her and I got a lot of kiwis from my older sister. The kiwis were reaped in my grandmother’s field. The kiwi field is so large and the tree fruits a lot. When I was a child, I often helped to the kiwi crop. It was hard but interesting. Home grown fruit is very delicious!

BR 2-11: Elmo says ACHOO!

I read “Elmo says ACHOO!”. I chose the book this time because I like Elmo. And the title and Elmo’s face is very funny. So I was really interested in the book. Now, I will tell you about this story. The main character is Elmo and his friends. First, Elmo had a present. No one knew what it is. It tickled Elmo’s nose. “Achoo!” he sneezed. Next, he went to his friend’s supermarket. And he sneezed again. Then he went to the barber’s chair. Yet again, he sneezes. He sneezed over and over again. Finally, he visited Oscar and opened the present. It was a stinkweed plant!

After finished reading the book, I knew the present’s identity. I thought the plan is so much trouble. So I don’t like the plan. If it had been sweet smell, I might have liked the plan. Also, I often hear the story like next. It is said that when you gave a sneeze, you are rumored something. I wonder whether it is true or not.

As you can see, this story is very interesting. So I want to recommend you the book.

Trick!!

Yesterday, I had a part time job from 18 o’clock. And I went the dormitory at 23:00 p.m. I have worked part time as a clerk in a supermarket since a month ago. I was very tired today, so I want to write about this next time. By the way, look at this picture. As you can see, the package of left side is Hello kitty. This is a pretzel. Shiori gave me it. She is one of my coworkers. When I got it, I was happy. But I looked at it well after the part time job finished, the Hallo kitty was strange!! Then I noticed that she into mischief. Hello kitty is very, very cute but this is very strange! It looks sleepy fishy. But I liked it very much because it is really funny. She is nice and kind! I also got the drink from my senior. She is one of coworkers too. Besides I got a banana, strawberries and grapes from the store chief. Everyone is kindness and friendly. So I like this part time job.

Yesterday, I took the employment common knowledge test. The test started at nine. There were 5 fields in the test. First was about current common knowledge. It was very difficult for me to answer. Then I thought about myself. I rarely read a newspaper. To be honest, I read when I am in the vein. But it is very important for us so I want to get into the habit of reading every day. Next was English. I could answer happily. But it wasn’t perfect so I want to more study hard. Third was about letter and language. It was interesting. Fourth was math. It was difficult. When I was high school student, I studied hard because I like it. But I forgot about parabola and so on. Finally was industry common knowledge. It was a choice problem. It was so difficult. After the test finished, I heard the explanation. The test benefited me. I want to brace myself in the future.

Souvenir from Osaka

Have you ever seen the RUSK? It is a souvenir from Osaka. My cousin gave me it! Last week, I was absent from school for three days due to mourning because my grandfather died at the age of 84. Therefore my relatives gathered at his home. I have 17 cousins. The eldest is 28 years and the youngest is 7 years. I saw my relatives after a long separation and talked them. I also have 4 girl’s cousin who is near to my age. The last night, I talked with them and my aunt about cool man, Ikemen. The conversation ran high very much. My aunt talked us about her favorite entertainer. The story was amusing to me. She likes “Takeru Sato” the best. He is very popular with among teenagers. I like him too. I though her mind is very young! Also I talked a lot with the youngest cousin too. He is very, very cute and funny. Thanks to them, I was healed. I’m really sad that my grandfather left me but thanks to him, I have many relatives like this. He also often told us about his experienced in the war age. Whenever he told it, he said “Don’t raise such war again”. In Japan today, there is no war. I feel happy that. My grandfather’s story was very precious for me. I am very proud of him. And I felt importance of family afresh. I love my family.

Essay 2-02b: My Language Learning Experience

I think it is very important for human to communicate with each other.
There are many kinds of languages all over the world. I have learned Japanese, English and Spanish. It is difficult for me to learn different languages. Because I can’t give expression to my thoughts well.
Last year, I took Spanish so I can speak it a little. Spanish’s pronunciation is widely different from English. But I like Spanish because it is very interesting. I also think to learn language is difficult even Japanese. But nevertheless it is wonderful and interesting for me to the different language.
I like to come in contact with a lot of various people. So I want to learn them and more contact with various people in the world. I especially want to more learn English because I like an English very much. It has some crucial stage. So I will tell you about my English and Spanish learning experience now.

First, I will you tell you about the starting point. I have learned English since I was a first year student at junior high school. But to the tell truth, I disliked English the best of all the subjects then because it was for the first time and difficult for me to understand. So I didn’t like the English class. Every time I took a test, my grades in English were the worst. So I decided to go to cram school when I was a second year student. I studied English hard in the cram school. So I could gradually understand and it has grown on me. When I noted it, I was good at English the best of all the subjects. Then I more studied hard for the entrance examination and entered a high school.

Next, I will tell you about my English learning experience of high school. I entered general school and there were four courses. My course was information. It was what is called a course to go to a higher school at the high school. Therefore I had a lot of PC classes or calculator but I like an English the best of all. I especially liked oral communication. It was interesting. I also sometimes talked with Assistant Language Teacher when the clean hours. I also studied English in extracurricular class every day. The English teacher was taught me on one to one basis when I was third year student. The teacher gave me some pieces advice and I took her advice to develop my English skills. I was poor at Listening. So I borrowed workbook and I practiced listening comprehension test every night. But I still it unconquerable.

I am majoring in English now. In this course, we learn four skills. For example, writing, listening, reading and Speaking. Beside we learn English paper or English literature too. I’m interested in them. I have a lot of thing about English, so I want to learn various fields. I also studied Spanish last year. It was for the first time but it was very interesting for me. I especially liked conversation because Spanish is the pronunciation peculiar and interesting. But I want to speak English fluently the best now because I am poor at speaking. I think that person who speaks English fluently is attractive and cool. So I want to do my best too.

As you can see, this is my learning language experience until now. There is now through these past experiences. So I am happy. Like this, I think that learning experience is difficult but it very important for us. I want to more study English from now on. And I want to make friends with foreigner and know about other culture. I think that we have many chances to learn English. In this university, there are a lot of exchange students.　 English lounge is one of the chances. When I entered this university, the English lounge interested me. However I have gone there only once. So I’d like to go the English lounge again if I have free time. By the way, have you ever been to foreign country? I’ve never been to there. I have many countries which I want to go now. For example, America, France, Australia, Canada and so on. I want to go to Canada the best now because I want to see an aurora. I also am interested in Germany. Therefore I want to learn German too. But above all, I want to master English. I want to improve in speaking. I think the best way to good is to use English every day, anyway. In the future, I want to teach English to children because I like children. English is very interesting so I want everyone to like it. So I will do my best to have the dream.

BR 2-10: The Dragon and the Phoenix

I read “The Dragon and the Phoenix”. When I found the book, a pearl in the book caught my eye because it is so bright. This story is about Dragon Mountain, Phoenix Mountain and shining lake. Also, it is the story in China. So I will tell you about it shortly. The main characters are dragon, phoenix, Queen of Heaven. Once upon a time, there was a dragon and phoenix. One day, they found the shiny pebble in the river. They washed and polished it. And the pebble became a pearl. The pearl shone brighter than stars and sun. It was so beautiful, so it has stolen by Queen of Heaven. After that, they looked for it and it was found in the heart of the mountains.

I don’t know anything about a dragon and phoenix. The phoenix is a legendary spirit bird. I knew that for the first time. I like legend because it is interesting. So I’m interested in it. If there is a time machine, I want to ascend to the deep past. I wish I were a magician.

BR 2-09: Clever Rabbit and the Lion

I read “Clever Rabbit and the Lion”, because the Lion in the book caught my eye. He looks angry. But the book is interesting. So I’m going to tell you about this story. The main character is Rabbit and Lion. The Lion lived in a jungle. He is a great big!! The Rabbit is smaller then Lion. But he is very clever. The lion wanted to eat up all of jungle animals. All animals worried about that, but they escaped through Rabbit’s plant.

When I read the story, I esteemed the rabbit for his cleverness. The rabbit is not the lion’s equal in strength. But like this, the clever rabbit won at the last. I think that to hit him where it hurts is important. Because every man has a fool in his sleeve. When I was a child, I went to a zoo. And I saw many animals. Then I didn’t like the lion because it is danger. But I think he is really clever animal too. I also have seen lion’s baby on TV before. It was very cute so I like it.

Presents★

On 12th, my friends gave me birthday presents, message cards, watch and snacks. It was unexpected thing so surprised!! First, the card was written messages from friends, Kinchan, Mizuho, Ryouko, Chikako, Aya, Satoko and Chinami! When I read it, I was really moved!! I was very happy. Next, the watch can be used as a necklace. Also, the design is really cute and I liked it very much. Finally, I got a Pocky, Poteto chips and Chocolate. I was really happy. These birthday presents are my treasure★ Thank you dear my friends!

Volunteer

Yesterday, I went to Ozu and involved in volunteer work with Mizuho. I was looking forward to coming the day.
First, the volunteer stared at 8:30. So I had to get up early and took the train at 7:33. But I slept late the morning so I gave up the train and took the next train. I just was in time for the volunteer.
Next, in the volunteer, there were a lot of participants, high school students, university students and common man. Also, there were a lot of booths. I was in charge of the Yakisoba with Mizuho. We sold a lots yakisoba. It was very interesting. After that, we ate a lot of foods during lunch time. All food was very cheap and delicious. We enjoyed the time.
In the stage, Kyuushuu nursing welfare university students were beating a drum. I saw them for the first time, they were very cool.
Finally, we met Kamekichi. By the way, do you know him? He is a TV performer. He appears on television. I saw him for the first time so I was happy. I wanted him to buy the Yakisoba. So we asked him to buy it, but he didn’t. He said, “I bought too much” in Kumamoto Japanese. The words were “Taigya koutaken”. We were said, but he was funny. I like Kumamoto Japanese.
After the volunteer finished, I had a part time job until twenty three. So I was all tired. But I had a very good time and the day became precious experience for me. If I have a chance, I’d like to take part in a volunteer activity again!!

KGU festival

October 29th, I went to KGU festival with Wakana. In fact, we were planning on going to karaoke the day. But I was in bad shape so made a change in the plans. In the KGU festival, there were a lot of booths and people. We were looking around the booths.
First, we bought French fries. It was very good. Next, we moved to resort research’s booth and bought the “tako rice”. We also wanted to eat the dessert so we bought the ice cream too. We held these foods and moved to the bakery. Then we ate the foods there. Finally, we watched the contest in a beauty at near the stage. Their costume was original. Some girls wore a costume like cat so I was surprised to watch it. Because it looked really cold but it was cute. The contest was very interesting. After that, we went to the dormitory early. I had a nice time.

My favorite month is January because it is fresh month. But I have many months I like. Each of months has goodness. I think that January is special particularly. First of all, there is a new year. I spend the night at home. And I visit three temples every year. When I was in the third year, I visited the temple with my friends. And we said my prayers. Also I visited “Dazaifutenmangu” with my family. It is famous for god of study. There were a lot people and the temple was very crowded then. This year, I visited the temple with my family. Then I drew a fortune slip. It was good luck. In addition, there is “Coming of Age Day” in this month. This year, I am twenty years old. So I’m looking forward to coming then.

Happy★

Today is my birthday. I became 20 years old. At first I said to become old because I remain teens forever. But I feel so happy now. First, I got a lot of birthday e-mails from friends; Kinchan, Mizuho, Wakana, Chinami, Chika, Yuka, Kaori and so on. I also got the e-mail from my old friends. When I read these e-mails, I was moved to tears. Each emails were really impressive and I felt so happy. Some friends were I haven’t seen her since graduate from high school. So I cherished the memory of my high school days. And many friends celebrated my birthday at school too.
Next, I ate chocolate cake after dinner. It was very delicious. Then Wakana gave me some presents. For example, birthday card, fragrance hair mist and bath set. The birthday card is so cute. The hair mist has a sweet smell and the bath set too. My boom is bath set so I was happy.
Finally, my mother called me on the night. My sister gave me the birth day e-mail with a melody. To my surprise, I got the e-mail from aunt. So I was happy.
Like this, my heart was full my twentieth birthday. I think life is very precious time. My teens were so youth. I want to enjoy my twenties too. I feel the importance of friends, family and so on. I can’t thank you enough. I love them. Thank you★

My favorite car

My favorite car is my older sister’s car. Because it is easy for me to drive. In fact, the car is my parents. They gave her the car about two years ago. My mother used the car until then. My father used “SERENA”. The car rides well. He likes a car very much so he liked it. But it was too expensive. We need more and more money so he parted it for family. I read “The Wish Fish” this time, because the title interested me. This book is very interesting. So I will tell you about this story. There are 6 characters, Bob, Bet, the sea, small fish, big fish, and a magic fish. Bob is a man and Bet is a woman. They live by the sea and like fish. Bob fishes all day. One day, he catches the biggest surprise of his life. It is, say, a magic fish! The fish gives them three wishes. Then they become rich.

The story was amusing. I like fish too. Especially I like sashimi. For example, mackerel, salmon, bream, tuna and so on. These fishes are very good. But I don’t like sardine and saury. Because it is a strong smell and bad for me. But the fishes is good for your health. So I want to overcome the likes and dislikes about fish.

My favorite TV show

My favorite TV show is variety. I like to watch television because it is interesting. I especially like “Owarai problem”. When I watch the problem, I become happily. So I will give a particular account of the problem. I like “Syabekuri 007” the best. Also, it is my recent favorite. The problem started in recent years. When I watched the problem for the first time, it was so funny. Then I watched it as a diversion every week. The Syabekuri 007’s members are Nepuchewn, Cream stew and Chewtorial. They are very funny. I like their talk very much. But I don’t have watched it since last month because I was busy. I also don’t have a TV in my room so I can’t watch when I want to watch. But there is a TV in the saloon and dining room. So I try to watch at least the news on the TV every morning.

BR 2-7: Happy Birthday, THOMAS!

This time I chose the book because the picture of THOMAS caught my eye. It brings me back old memories. When I was a child, I used to watch the animation on TV. It is very cute so I like it very much.
First, I will tell you about this Thomas! Thomas is a blue engine and hard worker. He has many friends, Gordon, James, Henry, Edward and so on. Gordon is strong man. And he seems an excess of confidence a little. James is full of conceit and proud of his red body. Henry detests dirtying his body but he likes the job. Edward is the engine so he is trusted by his friends.
Next, I will tell you about this story. The day is Thomas’s birthday. So he doesn’t want to work. But Sir Topham Hatt says, “Henry, Gordon and James are busy so he must work today, Thomas”. Therefore he worked harder. After the job finished, he went home. His friends gave a birthday party for him. It is a surprise and wonderful party so he is very happy.
Finally, I will remark about the story. The book is very interesting. There are many characters and personalities. I think it is important. And the party is very wonderful. Friends also are very important. I am very happy to read the book.

BR 2-06: Butterflies

I read “Butterflies”. The book was interested me because the illustration is colorful. Also, I got something out of the book. So I will tell you about the story shortly and feelings now.
There are butterflies almost everywhere in the world. As you can see, all butterflies have two eyes, six legs, tow feelers, and four wings. The habitat is different from their kinds. Some butterflies live in dark jungles. Others live in hot, dry deserts. Lots of butterflies live in woods and forests. In spring or summer, they look for a partner. Then the female butterfly lays eggs. It is called caterpillars. I dislike it because it is disgusting. But it changes into a butterfly. That’s impressive! I like cabbage butterfly because it is beautiful. I also like spring, the sociable atmosphere is softened.

BR 2-05: HOW BIG IS BIG?

I read “HOW BIG IS BIG ?”. When I found the book, I was surprised at the elephant because it is so big. This story is about the biggest thing.
First, the story starts the elephant. The elephant is bigger than a man. But baby elephant is smaller than the man. Dinosaurs are bigger than an elephant.
Next, airplanes are bigger than animals. But it is smaller than skyscrapers.
Finally, a universe is the most things all of them.
In addition, when I was a child, my parents took me at zoo. Then I felt that an elephant and giraffe is the biggest. But I think the biggest thing is infinite. There is no end to the thing. However I have never seen the universe, planet and so on. I want to see them this one time.
