BR 2-16: I want to be a Gymnast

I read the book, “I want to be a Gymnast” this time. Because I’m interested in Gymnast. It looks cool. And the title looked interesting, so I wanted to know the story. The book is nice. In this book, there are a lot of surprises and things I knew for the first time. I will tell you about them now.
First, Gymnast is famous a sport player. Gymnast is very flexible. “Tyra stretched one leg to the front and the other behind. This is called front splits.”(Kate,2006,p.11) I think almost people can’t do it. Of course, I possibly can’t do it too. But I think the people who can do it is wonderful.
Next, “This shape is called brige and is good for strengthening your arms and legs.”(Kate,2006,p.13) The shape is beautiful. I was surprised to look at the picture. I think gymnast is talented.
Finally, “Special covers are worn on your hands to stop them from getting blisters.” (Kate.2006.p.24)I think the handguards are important tool for them. Also, it helps safely them to do the sport. I thought Gymnast looks interesting but they are danger.

BR 2-15: Beef Stew

I read “Beef Stew”. This book is very interesting. I have favorite line. So I will tell you about the story and the line now. The main character is Nicky. He is a boy and likes beef stew very much.
One morning, “I am making lots of stew” and “Would you like to ask a friend for supper?” said his mother. He ran off to school to find a friend who liked beef stew. Then he asked many people if you liked it. For example, his friends, a teacher, officer, the garbage man and so on. But he was refused by them.

My favorite line is “Can you come for supper?” (Barbara, 1900,p.8) If he asked me instead, I would answer “Yes, I can.” Because I like beef stew and it is so delicious. I think almost people like it. Beef stew is standard dinner!

Crime prevention volunteer♪

On 20th, I took part in the crime prevention volunteer with Mizuho. I wanted to involve in a lot of volunteer works this year. So I was looking forward to coming the day.
First, we walked to the traffic center because the meeting place was Karashima Park. Karashima Park is near to the traffic center. I knew that but I didn’t know well how to way to the Karashima park from there. So we went to there by intuition.
Next, we got to the traffic center. Then we went underground. We were lost in the parking. We ran the underground. We just got to the Karashima Park. There are a lot of participants. For example, police officer, office worker, old people, college student and so on. Also, there was the mayor. I saw him for the first time.
Finally, the parade started after the opening ceremony. We walked to Kamitori from Shimotori follow brass band. The march was very nice. When I walked the road, I was ashamed. Because there were a lot of reporters and cameraman. We were taken many pictures by them. Then I also saw Kumamon when I arrived at Kamitouri. It is character of Kumamoto and it was very cute. After the parade finished, we went to the north police station. They gave us tea in token of their gratitude. I was happy. After that, we went to boring because I had a free ticket. The game was very interesting. We did the game about an hour. Then I went home by bus.
Like this, I was very tired the day. But I had very nice time. I’m interested in volunteer work. So I want to more involve in various volunteer work next year!

The Emperor's Birthday

On 23th was a holiday because it was the Emperor’s Birthday. The day, we gave a Christmas party at Asaki’s house. The members are Asaki, Misuho, Chikako and me. First, we ate a lot of food at the party. For example, pizza, chocolate cake, snack and so on. It was very delicious. Next, we had a game of cards, Uno. Then we exchanged the Christmas present. I got Asaki’s present. It was bath set and a doll. The doll is Santa. It is really cute so I liked the present. In this connection, Asaki got my present. My present is Hokkairo for foot. I was happy that she liked it too.
Finally, I talked a lot of things with them. I heard their secret. I was surprised at the story but feeling over the conversation tan high and it was fun!! I had very good time with them.

My favorite part time job place

My favorite part time job place is Toroku market. It is my part time job place now. There is the toroku market near the dormitory. The place is about three minute from there by walk. I have worked part time job four times before. For example, Maruei, B＆G and Hottomotto. First, I was working part time as a clerk in a supermarket for a year when I was a high school student. The supermarket is Maruei. It was for the first time for me. Second, I was working the pool last summer. There is a pool which is called B＆G near my home. Finally, I was working part time job as a clerk in a Hottomotto for two months. The place is about ten minute from the dormitory by bicycle. It is a little far from the dormitory. But Toroku market is convenient to there and the part time job is very interesting!

Essay 2-03a: My University Life

My university life is nice. I’m leading a full life every day. I have a lot of things I want to do in the university life. Of course, the best aim at the university is studying to realize my dream. But I also want to develop into an attractive adult through various experience. For example, study, dormitory life, volunteer, part time job and so on. It is university life that I imagined two years ago. Therefore I am busy now but I feel so happy. So, I will tell you about my university life.

First, I’m going to tell you about study aspect. I study English every day. My favorite English class is America literature. At first, I didn’t like it but I am gradually interested in literature. It is difficult for me to read but it’s very interesting. Also, I take teaching course. I learn how to teach English and life guidance in the class. It is very hard for me to study but I like the class very much.

Next, I’m going to tell you about dormitory life. It is good and comfortable. The best point is cooperative. I always eat dinner with my friend. Then I talked with her about the event during the day. The time is very fun for me. I sometimes talk with her until lights out time. It’s 23:00 p.m. I can it when I want to talk. So I don’t feel lonely when I went the dormitory. Also, the dormitory is near to the university. So I can go to the library until closing time. I like the library so I want to go there to study from now on. Like this, I am happy that I entered the dormitory.

Finally, I’m going to tell you about part time job. I’m working part time job as a clerk in a supermarket about three times a week. The slot is from 17:00 p.m. to 23:00 p.m. I always go the dormitory at 23:20 p.m. Then I take a bath. After that, I do an assignment. I feel that the compatibility of school with part time job is difficult. But I need some money. And I like service industry. So it is really interesting for me to contact with the customer. My coworkers are kind to me and funny. So I like the part time job.

In addition, I sometimes involve in volunteer work. Because it is interesting and benefit me. November 13th, I involved the volunteer of festival with Mizuho. It was hold at institution. We enjoyed it and gained good experience. Then we will involve the volunteer again next Monday. It is a crime prevention pared. It seems large scale event. So I’m looking forward to coming then.

As you can see, I enjoy a full university life. I think that this university is blessed with good environment. For example, library, bakery, gakusyoku, Maruzen and so on. And I have many friends. Thanks to them, my university life is really fun. I want to study more hard to realize my dream together them. I also want to gain various experience by acting actively. So I want to spend time usefully from now on.

BR 2-14: Colourful Days

I read “Colourful Days”. When I found the book, the illustration caught my eye. The illustration is sunflower. It is a very tall plan with a large yellow flower. I like the sunflower very much because it is beautiful. The sunflower blooms in summer. So I’m looking forward to seeing it in this summer.

There are a lot of colors in our life. For example, Snow is white, Tree is green, Cherry blossom is pink and so on. This book showed such things. I think the various color is essential to our life because it please the eye. If it were not for the color, I would not enjoy in my life.

In this book, there are many lines I like. My favorite line is “We can play in the cold, white snow.” (Deborah, 2003, p.7) I like snow. When I was a child, I made a snowman with my friend. It was very fun. I also like white because it is cute and I think it is clean color.

This week！

This week, I was very busy and really tired because I had a lot of assignments, micro teaching, part time job and two tests. The most hardest problem for me is micro teaching. It was difficult for me to teach English.

First, I had three classes from 2th period to 5th period on Monday. After the 5th period, I went to the library to do these assignments. Next day, I had two classes and went to the library same on Monday. On Wednesday, I had three classes from 1th period to 3th period. But I slept late in the morning because I stayed up all night to do the assignments. I got up at 8:40 so I didn’t have breakfast and I hurried to take Writing. Therefore I arrived barely in time for class. After the 3th period, I went to the library and did homework until 4:00 p.m. Then I had a part time job from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. During part time job, I was thinking the micro teaching and listening comprehension test. After that, I did the assignments until 3:00 a.m. On Thursday, I three classes, special activity study, listening test and micro teaching. Listening test was difficult but I did my best. After the test, I did micro teaching. It was very regrettable that I couldn’t it as I wanted. To be honest, I thought it through last Thursday. But I couldn’t collect my thoughts. Also, it was for the first time for me and difficult problem. I felt shortage of my skill. Other students were good. So I felt frustrated then. But it acted as a good stimulus for me. Finally, I had three classes today. But I got up at 8:40 again so I hurried to the 1th period, international society and Japan. Then I took speaking test and 5th period. After that, I went the dormitory. I ate dinner, watched TV and talked with my friend in the dining room until 22:30. It was fun!

Like this, I was tired but I am happy that this week finished. But I can’t relax until next Friday. Because I have some assignments now, three reports, essay, book reviews and part time job. The deadline date of essay is Monday and three reports is Wednesday. So I will do my best!! When I got over it, my winter vacation starts! I’m looking forward to coming then.

I will tell you about my favorite song. My favorite song is “Carry on”. It is EXILE’s song. I have liked the song since I was a high school student. I like the title and the words above all things. Because the words are clear and it makes me cheerful. My favorite parts of the words are “Don’t give up hope anytime”. I think the words are very nice. As often as I listen to the song, I can have a forward looking attitude. I have a dream of becoming a junior high school teacher since I was a high school student. So I feel the words. I think having a dream is very important and nice because I can spend a lively life. I sometimes listen to the song from now on and I will do my best.

I like character and character goods very much. So I have a lot of character goods. For example, Hello Kitty, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Kumanopu-san, Doraemon, Suzy’s zoo, Rilakkuma and so on. I especially like Hello kitty and Suzy’s because it is very cute. So I have some sharp pencil of Hello Kitty which is limited sale. For example, Kagoshima, Aichi, Okinawa, Tkyo and Nagoya. These are souvenir from my friend. I like them. I often use the shape pencil of Kagoshima. It is black pig Hello Kitty. It’s cute! Also, my alarm clock is Doraemon. My grandmother gave me it about two years ago. When the alarm clock rings every morning, I wake up with a start. Because it is Doraemon’s voice and so big. I can’t get up without it. It is very useful. So I want to cherish it from now on.

Precious memory

I will tell you about my high school memories. I have a lot of memories at high school. For example, school sports, school festival, welcome excursion, class match, school trip and so on. One is school trip. We went to Nagano, when I was a second high school student. Then I skied for the first time, it was very interesting. On the night, I played card game and talked with my friends. The time was very fun for me. Next morning, I saw the icicles hanging from the roof. I have never seen such view, so I was really excited!! It was so long!! The ground was covered with snow and the view of Nagano was really beautiful.
Other is the examination study. It is no exaggeration to say the best memory for me!! It was heavy every day for me. Because I had only one friend who aimed for college together. I and the friend were isolated by the classroom and took a special class. Also, I often went to school on holiday and studied alone in the classroom. It was hard for me to study so I sometimes envied the students who went higher school. But I retrace at that time, I feel that I was supported by many teachers and friends. In those days, I forgot everything except that I wanted to realize my dream and I always had my inmost thoughts. The thought and support made me strong. It was hard examination life for me but I learned many things from those days.
Like this, I lived a stormy high school life. It is precious memory for me. Also, it depends on you whether the dream has come true or not. So I want to do my best without giving it up from now on.

BR 2-13: The Fox and the Stork

I read “The Fox and the Stork” this time. The book was easy for me to read and interesting. So I will tell about this story in shortly. This story is about Fox and stork. They were friends but Fox loved playing.
One day, Fox invited Stork to dinner. Then Fox set a trap for a Stork. Stork was fairly caught in the trap and he was angry. Next day, Stork invited Fox to dinner and gave him tit for tat. Fox was fairly caught in the trap and he was angry too. But Stork said, “You tricked me first.” Stork taught Fox that you always be kind to your friends.

I like Fox and Stork because they are cute. But I’ve have never seen them. So I want to see them someday. Tradition says that Fox deceive people and Stork carries a baby to the couple. I think these legends are interesting. I also everyone has a mischief mind like the Fox and the Stork. But I think you shouldn’t do such thing to your friends. So I want to contact with my friend kindly too.

BR 2-12: I can swim!

I read “I can swim!”. The book is very interesting. So I will tell you about the story in brief now.
The main character is George. He is a child. At first, he can’t swim in the pool. His dad was going to teach him how to swim. He used some tool aid then. For example, arm bands, float and float ring. Every lesson, he used these tools to swim well for his son. Therefore, gradually George began to swim well. In the last story, George can swim well.

By the way, can you swim? And do you like it? I like swimming very much. When I was an elementary school student, I went to swimming class. The class was very hard for me but it also was fun. I practiced mainly crawl, breaststroke and backstroke in the class. I didn’t very like crawl but I like breaststroke very much. Then I have represented our grade at the swimming meet as a breaststroker three times. Every time, I was very nervous at the swimming meet. However, it was interesting for me to swim. Because I like swimming!

My favorite bakery

Today, I will tell you about my favorite bakery. My favorite bakery is KGU bakery. In this KGU bakery, there are many kinds of loaves.
