Sunburn

Today, I went to　daiei with Wakana in this morning. She is my dormitory friend. We walked to there. Then I got tanned, because todady was so hot. My arms and legs are tingling with sunburn now. I did my homework in this noon. After that I worked part time. So I was very tired. So I want to sleep early! Good night☆( 64 words)

Supplementary lecture

Today, I had a supplementary lecture of western history introduction. So I got up early as usual. Then I went to school with my dormitory friend. Tonarino Totoro★

I took this picture a hotel. There is the hotel which is called "Sekia" in my hometown. Last year I went there with my family. Then this Tonarino Totoro was displayed there.
By the way, Do you like Tonarino Totoro? I like this character very much, because it is really cute. When I was a child, I often watched this animation. It is really interesting. I also like "GHIBLI". For example, "Mimiwosumaseba", "Mazyonotakkyubin", "Sentotihironokamikakushi","Nekonoonngaeshi", "Tenkuunoshirorapyuta" and so on. These movies are really interestimg! Foreign countries

When I was a high school student, I was interested in foreign countries. But I have never been to foreign countries. So I want to go to foreign countries someday. Now I want to go to Hawaii, because the other day my old friends told me a story of her travel in Hawaii. It seemed really interesting. And she gave me a souvenir from Hawaii, for example, chocolate and key rings. The Hawaiian chocolate was delicious. I want to go there by myself someday. I also want to learn about culture. BR 1-10: The Inch Prince

When I was a child, I read the picture book. I wanted to read again. So I chose this book.
This story is about Inch prince. Once upon a time, there was a little old man and a little woman. Their names were Mr. and Mrs. Ping. They lived in a tiny house by a river. "I wish we had some children," said Mrs. Ping, one evening. "Only a teeny child could fit in our tiny house," said Mr. Ping, sadly. "But small things can be special too," said his wife. "I wouldn't care if they were just one inch tall," she added. At that moment, a fairy flew by. She heard what Mr. and Mrs. Ping said. She waved her wand and whispered some magic words. Soon afterwards, Mr. and Mrs. Ping had a teeny weeny boy. In fact, he was just one inch tall! So he had a bottle top for a bathtub. He had a shoelace for scarf.　He had a button for a dinner plate. And he had a matchbox for a bed. Many years later, it was time for him to leave home. His parents gave him three presents for his journey. For example, rice bowl, chopsticks and needle. He left home with these tools. At last, he reached an emperor's palace. Then he met the beautiful princess. One day, the princess left the palace to visit her aunt. He went too. They came to a dark forest. Just then, there was a n ogre. The ogre scooped up him in his mouth. He took his needle-sword and pricked the ogre's tongue. Then the ogre ran off! The princess fell in love with him. She loved him, because he was brave. They got married

Thus, this story has a happy ending. So I am happy too! He was just one inch tall, but very cool!

My favorite place

This is part of my walking course. There is the road near by my grandmother's house. When I go out to my grandmother's house, I sometimes walk there with my older sister. As you see, this road is straight and there is no car. So it is easy to walk. There is a lot of nature and so beautiful! I want to walk there to relax if I go back to my hometown next.(74 words)

Last week

I am going to talk about my holiday of last week now.
First, I went back to my hometown last Saturday, because my grandfather is in hospital. So I went to the hospital to see him. I worry him. So I want to go there again.

I read “The old woman who lived in a shoe” this time, because my attention was engaged by the book. The book cover seemed really interesting!
There was an old woman who lived in a shoe. She had so many children. There was Gwen who was greedy and Stan who was small. There was Sean who was short and Tom who was tall. There was Jasmine and Jeremy, Sandeep and Grace… boys and girls all over the place. Ying and Yasmin, Jacob and Joe… squeezed in together, with no room to grow. So this room is too full. She went to store to buy new shoe. But there is no large shoe. She was on her way home, by the side of a river, when she met a huge giant. He gave a sad shiver. There is a crab on his toe. So she pulled it off! He thanked her and gave her his shoe. Then all the children have space to have fun.
This story is dreamland. So it excited me! I want to go there. But I don’t want to live in the shoe. I want to live in the house which made from a cake!

BR 1-08: The Boy Who Cried Wolf

This is a fairy story. This story is about Sam, some sheep, the villagers and a wolf. Sam lived in a little village in the mountains. Every day he took the sheep from the village up the hill to a grassy meadow. He was lonely and he was so bored. So he tried talking to the sheep. But they didn't have much to say. One day, he had an idea. He told a lie to the villagers. "A wolf!" he shouted. The villagers were angry but sam just laughed. A few days later, Sam was bored again. So he told a lie again. But Some people didn't believe him. A few days latter, a wolf did come out of the forest. So he cried out for help. But nobody believed him.
This story was interesting. I don't like a lie. No one believes liars, even when they tell the truth. So I think that we had better not tell a lie.(172 words)

My other classes

I have a lot of other classes in this spring term. And I have a lot of homework. So I am busy everyday. The most interesting class is student guidance study. But to guide is difficult. So I want to more learn about it. The English literature also is interesting. Because I‘ｍ interested in literary works. I watched Romeo and Juliet for the first time in this class. It is interesting. I want to know a lot of literary works. And I want to develop English skill, so I study other classes hard.(95 words)

Essay 1-02b: Lipton

I like Lipton very much. It is a kind of the tea. But When I was a junior high school student, I drank it for the first time. I didn’t like it then. But When I was a high school student, I drank it again. And I felt that it was really delicious. Then it becomes my favorite tea. By the way, do you know “koutyakaden”? It is a tea too. I like koutyakaden as well as Lipton. So I sometimes drink it! It was good. But I like Lipton the best. My favorite Lipton tea is apple-flavoured. So I am going to tell you about this Lipton today!

First, I am going to introduce about the origin. This Lipton was made by Sir Thomas Lipton. He was born in 1848 at Glasgow. He is an entrepreneur and innovator. He went to Glasgow alone. After he returned, he opened the food’s shop. In the 1890’s he visited in Sri Lanka and handled the tea. He was involved in charity volunteer work. In other words, he contributed to the group. His action was accept to Queen of Victoria. Then he was called “Sir Thomas Lipton”.

Next, Lipton tea is great tasting and good for our health. Tea contains some substance. For example, tannin, teanin, caffeine and so on. This caffeine is good for our health. So it also is effective in diet.

Finally, there are many kinds of Lipton. For example, Peach Tea, Milk Tea, Lemon Tea, Straight Tea, Pink Grapefruit Tea, Ice Chocolate Milk Tea, Apple Tea, Muscat Tea and so on. I sometimes drink Peach Tea, Milk Tea, Lemon Tea, Pink Grapefruit Tea and Apple Tea. I like Apple tea the best of all. But I’ve never drunk the Straight Tea, Ice chocolate Milk Tea and Muscat Tea. So I want to try them next time! If you have never drunk the Lipton, please try it someday. I recommended you to drink it. Lipton is really good tea.

I read “The Mouse’s Wedding”. This story is about Father Mouse, Mother Mouse, Miss Mouse, the sun, a cloud, the wind, a wall, and a handsome young mouse. Once there was a family of mice. Father Mouse wants his daughter to marry the most powerful husband in the world. Therefore at first, Father Mouse thought that the sun is the most powerful. Because he makes our days bright and warm, and helps the flower grow. So Father Mouse asked him. But he answered “I don’t think so”. Next, Father Mouse asked the cloud. But he said the same as the sun. So Father Mouse asked the wind. But he said the same as the sun and cloud. Then, When he continue looking for it, there was a mousehole and a handsome young mouse. His daughter likes him. So the mice were married. The sun and the cloud and the wind all came to the wedding.
This story was really interesting! I think that the story has a happy ending. I want to marry powerful husband in the future! By the way, What kind of person do you want to marry in the future?

How I study English

When I was a junior high school student, it was really hard for me to learn English. So I went to cram school and studied very hard. Then I like to study English. I always listened to English CDs. I also often watched English TV. But I don’t study such things. I do only my homework. So I think about myself. I want to grind away at English. Sunday

Last Sunday, First I went to 31 with my friend and raised the money. Because there was a campaign to raise funds. Then I got the ice cream. I ate “ Caramel chocolate cheese cake”. It was really delicious. After that, we walked to YMCA. Because we wanted to go restaurant near the YMCA. But we didn’t know how to get there. So we entered a convenience store and asked the clerk the way. The clerk kindly taught us it. So arrived the restaurant in front of YMCA. When we entered, there are a lot of customers, and there is no seat. So we left there once, we went to DAIICH high school. Because an athletic meet was hold by chance. I went to there for the first time. It was girls’ school. My high school was coeducation. So I felt fresh. Then I met the principal of our school. He was transferred from my high school to DAIICH high school. So I was so surprised! Finally we returned the restaurant. We ate Yakisoba and Okonomiyaki for lunch. It was really delicious too! And I have my fortune told from the lines on my palm! Because there is a rumor that the owner can palmistry. So we came all the way to it! I had a good time.(218 words)

Food/eating habits

Matron makes us breakfast and dinner every day. But I have to buy lunch. I always have rice, miso soup and side dish for breakfast. I like Japanese food very much. So I hardly eat a bread for breakfast. My favorite food is vegetable dish. For example fried vegetables, food boiled and seasoned, vegetable soup and so on. My grandmother grows vegetables. And she makes dish for me. It is really delicious. I also like fruit, especially orange. These days my friend gives me the orange which brought from her home. So I am very happy. Then We resumed the job after a short rest. I went home at eight. I worked for ten hours today. So I was really tired. But thanks to my friend, I took enjoyment in this job.
